Back Story

Suzuki Motorcycles Australia is a motorcycle manufacturer and wholesaler with an Australia wide service spare parts and sales network of dealers. In addition to motorcycles and spare parts Suzuki Australia has a range of genuine Suzuki accessories including; clothing, lifestyle and giftware. Suzuki approached us to create an ecommerce platform to work in side by side with their corporate motorcycle website. Specifically the site is to focus on the sales of Suzuki genuine motorcycle accessories.

Discover

The Discovery sessions uncovered that Suzuki owners have passion for the brand and they love to wear branded clothing and accessories. Sales at the Superbikes and the Moto GP validated this theory, with significant numbers of products being sold at the events. The Suzuki brand had to fit with all of the other external communications and the site needed to be simple to use and easy to update for the Team Suzuki administrator.

Tablet Version

We built out and optimised a tablet version, with the competition utilising the very best in UX / UI design specifically for mobile users.We crafted a system of components that could be repurposed around the site, naturally translating to mobile or tablet devices with a heightened interest of design integrity degradation.

Design

The Design was guided by the brand guidelines, theming the site in the striking Suzuki blue and white colouring. Navigation gives 3 separate ways to the products;
1. Through the Mega Menu
2. Central category list
3. Through featured products

We also added a Blog feature for communication with the faithful Suzuki devotees.

Develop

We chose to develop the site using our Element 7 Digital Webstore ecommerce platform optioned with CMS for pages and the Blog/Newsletter to email market with and data control to allow speedy control of product and ordering information.

Deploy

After go live, the site has been experiencing solid growth allowing Suzuki fans to secure genuine accessories online. The growth in the online market has been in addition to the normal demand through stores and activity centres like at the Moto GP.
