Holinger Engineering has been designing and manufacturing high precision components for motor racing for decades. Specialising in transmissions, Holinger manufacture a range of gearboxes and associated products, from stand-alone bespoke designs, right through to gear sets for existing production cars. Holinger Engineering wanted to refresh its web presence with a process that would allow a more dynamic and interactive experience for their prospective and current customers. The administration of the site needed to be simpler and faster to update, more configurable in product display and be able to publish to social media.
The key to the success of the site was to fully understand who Hollinger’s clients are and what sort of information is critical to the decision making process. After spending time with the Sales and Marketing team, understanding the sales process and the frequently asked for materials, we set about the task of setting out a logical flow though the site with a step by step walkthrough the sales process.
The site navigation was modelled on the sales process and structured in such a way all of the relevant information has been supplied in a logical navigational flow. The site allows people to browse, research and access information in a timely manner, allowing the customer to be more educated about the correct product, resulting in hotter leads to the sales team, with less time on the phone.
Secondary to the design was the ability to aggregate all of the news/blog information to social media with a one click system in administration and front-end where we allow all users to share product, information and articles across their social media creating a viral effect.

The multi-site capability has been leveraged to allow the Holinger US and EU sites to be published from the one CMS and products to be shared across all sites through one admin system.
Post go live, the site is performing well with an increase in qualified leadscreating more qualified sales leads to the sales team. Integration with social media has been streamlined and update times have been cut.www.holinger.com.au
